Google Ads API Disclosure
This page describes exactly how Briffo accesses and uses Google Ads data.
OAuth scope and access model
- Briffo requests Google Ads API access via OAuth 2.0.
- Primary scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. - Access is read-only in product behavior. Briffo does not perform campaign mutations on behalf of users.
Data we access
- Account, campaign, and ad-group performance metrics.
- Segments and dimensions needed for reporting and trend analysis.
- Metadata required to label and explain results (for example: campaign names, status, channel type).
How data is used
- Generate user-facing performance digests and recommendations.
- Show reporting views and historical comparisons in Briffo.
- Detect anomalies and technical issues in account performance.
How data is not used
- No sale of Google Ads data.
- No use of Google Ads data for ad serving, retargeting, or audience profiling.
- No transfer of Google Ads data to generalized AI/ML training pipelines.
Limited Use disclosure
Briffo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
User controls
- Users can revoke OAuth access at any time in Google Account settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Users can request deletion of Briffo-stored data at /data-deletion.
